DESCRIBE MY CAREER

My career is L.R.C. it is concerned with trade and products from preparing it until it goes out to the market and is consumed.

It prepares us in the areas of sales , Publicity, Marketing, likewise it gives us many to take a product or service and that the own consumer not to turn.

EXPLAIN MY CURRENT JOB.

My current job is in the area of sales in the company "Dulces Vero" here the sales of every kind of sweets take pleace every day.

sales are organized by personnel and distributed by zones you should greet you audience first.

DESCRIBE MY COMPANY.

I work for "Dulces Vero" in it all kinds of sweets of candy are made masiso as palettes, in different sizes , flavors, for which price change .

"Dulces Vero" is a ompany economist who tries to hel to rural zones leading to the sales each or it's products.

TALK ABOUT MY COMPANY's HISTORY

Inthe 50's m company began as a small business of manufacture of sweets. During the 60's the business grew in a significant way establishing a route of sale for the Pacifis Ocean selling in addition other sweets ofthe region.

Great variety of products including the we have a following categories:

• Candies
• Elastic bands
• Marshmallows
• Palettes
• Products with cacahuate
• Products with chocolate

Candies increased from 5 to 10
Palettes increased from 10 to 20

Subject: Meeting about the Production Manager.

Date: 9th April.

Background Problem:As you know, in the Production Department has been many problems; for example the productivity has fallen, the workers have been unhappy and the relationships haven´t been the best.

Discussion:In the meeting, the directors were talking about these problems, and each one give your point of view .

• The Sales Manager suggested: give a pay increase to all the workers, because the workers would be happier than now and they could work better.
• The Marketing Manager suggested: reduce the level at which workers can earn a productivity bonus, because she thought that was a good solution, to motivate to the workers.
• I suggested that we appoint a new Production Manager, because the relationships improve and the workers could work better, ´cause they think that the Production Manager isn´t strong .
• The Accountant Manager suggested cut labour costs for example not recruiting any new workers when people leave, because the company don´t have enough money.

Finally we decided that the best option was appoint a new Production Manager, because the other manager hasn´t good relationships with the workers. Instead the workers will see a change, and they think that are important for our factory, could work happy and the productivity and saless surely will increase.If you have any problems or questions about the new decision, please see me.

In this week we did an exam, , i got a good grade but thought that over come, also we did de speaking evaluation with my parthers, we told a conversation that we had memorize because we didn't come on thursday.

WEEK 5:

In this week we saw the unit 13 (productivity). The grammar was adverbs and adjectives. We learnt more vocabulary about desing to delivery, just-in-time production, word building, efficient stock control.

A: We need to decide how to increase sales this month. Any ideas?
B: What about offering some discounts?
C: That’s a good idea but our prices are already cheaper than our competitors.
B: So why not send some advertising to customers? We could tell them about our prices.
B: I like that. I think we also need to use Internet and email more.
C: What do you mean?
B: Well, perhaps we could email some of our old customers and update the website?
C: That’s true. Our website is the same as it was six months ago.
A: OK. I’ll deal with that.
C: What about inviting someone from the local newspaper to visit the factory and show them our new range?
A: Brilliant! But I think we should invite all the newspapers.
C: I’m not sure about that. Do you think they would come?
B: We could at least try and see what happens.
